Most Christians say that they have received the Spirit. But, the Bible says that those who do not celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles cannot receive the Spirit.
Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, they will have no rain. If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The LORD will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. (Zechariah 14:16-18)
Those who do not observe the Feast of Tabernacles and do not go up to Jerusalem will not receive rain [the Spirit], but the plague. About the Spirit of the Feast of Tabernacles, Jesus said as follows:
But when the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was near… Not until halfway through the Feast did Jesus go up to the temple courts and begin to teach… On the last and greatest day of the Feast [the Feast of Tabernacles], Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.” By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. (John 7:2-39)
Many people may think that the Feast of Tabernacles is a mere feast of the Old Testament. However, Jesus celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles of the New Covenant and showed that the saints will receive the Spirit on the Feast. (There are two kinds of Laws: the Law of Moses and the Law of Christ. We should keep the Law of Christ or the New Covenant in this time of the New Testament.) Without keeping the Feast of Tabernacles, no one can receive the Spirit and get salvation.
Also, the Bible says that those who do not go up to Jerusalem cannot receive the Spirit, but will receive plague. In the last days, the living water is to flow out from Jerusalem:
On that day [In the last days] living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half to the eastern sea and half to the western sea, in summer and in winter… Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, they will have no rain. (Zechariah 14:8; 16-18)
But the Jerusalem that is above [in heaven] is free, and she is our mother. (Galatians 4:26)
The Apostle John wrote that the Heavenly Jerusalem is the bride, the wife of the Lamb. In this last days, the bride [Heavenly Jerusalem] is to give us the water of life along with the Holy Spirit.
One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” And he … showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. (Revelation 21:9-10)
The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. (Revelation 22:17)
The Bible consistently testifies that the source of the living water is the Heavenly Jerusalem or God the Mother. Therefore, those who do not celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles and do not believe in the Heavenly Jerusalem cannot receive the water of life. Today, only the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) observes the Feast of the Tabernacles of the New Covenant and also believes in God the Mother as well as God the Father Christ Ahnsahnghong. Actually, the whole Scriptures prove that there is God the Mother as well as God the Father. In the book of Genesis, Elohim God created the heavens and the earth, and created man in the image of God.
Then God [Elohim] said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:26-27)
Male and female were created in the image of God. This means that there are two images of God: the male image of God and the female image of God. So, the Bible proves that there are God the Father and God the Mother. For this reason, the word “Elohim” was used more than 2,500 times to indicate “God” throughout the Old Testament. “Elohim” is the plural form of “El” or “Eloah” and means “Gods,” not “God.”
Although many evidences in the Bible, some people, who oppose the teachings of the World Mission Society Church of God, deny the existence of God the Mother. Many people have a fixed idea that there is only God the Father and there is no God the Mother. But, we must rely on the Bible, not on the thoughts of men. Please look into the Bible and believe in God the Mother to receive the water of life.
