Those who do not believe in God the Mother claim that there is no God the Mother because “Mother” in Galatians Chapter 4 means a country. They insist that the word “Mother” was used to refer to a country in some Verses, therefore “Mother” in Galatians Chapter 4 is also a country.

For example, if someone says, “My hometown is my mother,” does it mean that he has only a hometown and does not have his mother? Rather, it’s possible to express his hometown as “mother” because he has his mother, isn’t it?

Likewise, the Bible testifies to our spiritual Mother who is represented as the Heavenly Jerusalem, our spiritual home. It’s possible to express the Heavenly Jerusalem as our Mother because there is our spiritual Mother. They reached such hasty conclusion by only understanding the Bible partially.

All Christians believe in Heavenly Father even though they have never seen Him because the Bible testifies to “our Father in heaven” (Matthew 6:9.) The same Bible also testifies to the existence of Heavenly Mother.

Bu the Jerusalem that is above [in heaven] is free, and she is our mother (Galatians 4:26)

And the Bible says that there is the name of the heavenly Jerusalem city.

I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God… (Revelation 3:12)

If the heavenly Jerusalem is a country (the kingdom of heaven,) what is the name of it? And why is it given us?

Some also insist that the heavenly Jerusalem is the saints. If then, what does “our” (from “our mother”) refer to in Galatians 4:26? There is Mother to the saints who will be saved. Therefore, the saints cannot be Jerusalem. And others also claim that the heavenly Jerusalem refer to the church. If it refers to the church, isn’t there any church in the past? (They admit that they attend churches which cannot be saved because their churches have not come down out of heaven.)

Hagar represents the Old Covenant and Sarah represents the New Covenant. And Hagar stands for the earthly Jerusalem, and Sarah, the free woman, stands for the heavenly Jerusalem who is our Mother. The reality of the New Covenant is the heavenly Jerusalem, our Mother. Those who keep the New Covenant can understand God correctly. Without keeping the New Covenant Passover, we cannot know God.

“The time is coming,” declares the LORD, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah… “I will put my law [the New Covenant] in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ because they [those who keep the New Covenant] will all know me, from the least of them to the greats,” declares the LORD. (Jeremiah 31:31-34)

The Bible says that only those who keep the New Covenant will know God. Do they keep the New Covenant? How do they know God without keeping the New Covenant? It’s natural that they do not understand Heavenly Mother because they do not observe the New Covenant.

According to the prophecy of the prophet Jeremiah, Jesus established the New Covenant with the Passover bread and wine, by saying “I eagerly desired to eat this Passover” (Luke 22:15; 22:19-20) However, the Passover of the New Covenant completely disappeared from the world since 325 AD. The truth of life had been hidden during the Dark Ages. The Bible says that only the Root of David, the Second Coming Jesus will be able to open the sealed Bible and to interpret it fully to teach us (Revelation 5:1-5.) According to the Bible, Christ Ahnsahnghong, the Second Coming Jesus, came as the Root of David and opened the sealed Bible. He brought us the New Covenant and testified about Jerusalem Mother.

Many people have a fixed idea that there is only God the Father. However, the Bible testifies to the existence of God the Mother as well. In Genesis 1:26, God said “Let us make man in our image in our likeness,” and created male and female. And the word “Elohim”, which is the plural form and means “Gods”, is used more than 2,500 times throughout the Bible. Moreover, the Spirit [God the Father] and the bride [God the Mother] give us the water of life in the age of the Holy Spirit.

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life. (Revelation 22:17)

According to the Bible, God the Father and God the Mother are calling the people of God and give them the water of life. Please come the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) to meet Christ Ahnsahnghong and God the Mother and receive the water of life freely.
