The Bible testifies about the Savior who will save mankind (John 5:39.) It means that we can recognize the Savior ONLY through the Bible.

You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me [the Savior] (John 5:39)

We need to remember why God allowed us the Bible. Since we cannot see the spiritual world, God gave us the Bible for us to see the spiritual world and to receive the Savior who will lead us to the kingdom of heaven. God is almighty and does not need that any one should bear witness concerning man (John 2:25.) The ONLY criteria for recognizing the Christ is the Bible.

But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way? (Matthew 26:54)

Jesus lived a life of prophecies of the Bible. However, the Jews and the religious leaders of the day did not realize that Jesus fulfilled all prophecies regarding Him. Moreover, they judged Jesus by their own thoughts and methods. They thought God cannot be born as a man. They did not know the Bible correctly though they thought they knew the Bible well, and they did not know God.

They will treat you this way [they will persecute you] because of my name, for they do not know the One who sent me [God]. (John 15:20-21)

It’s prophesied that the Christ will appear a second time to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him (Hebrews 9:28) and open the sealed Bible (Revelation 5:1-6.) Then, how can we recognize the Second Coming Christ? We can recognize Him ONLY through the Bible. However, history repeats itself today. Like the time of Jesus 2000 years ago, religious leaders and many Christians of today would not believe in Him. Most especially, there are so-called “cult experts” who judge whether an organization or a person is a cult or not using their own criteria. You need to understand that self-proclaimed “cult experts” are not an expert acknowledged or approved by any governments or any universities. You may encounter the name “Steven Hassan” when you search “World Mission Society Church of God” or “Christ Ahnsahnghong” online. However, Steven Hassan is not an expert in religion, but a mental health counselor. In other words, his knowledge on religion is limited and he is not in a position to judge other religions.

The above YouTube video shows the disinformation and inconsistencies in the videos posted by Steve Hassan and his affiliates against the World Mission Society Church of God, and to exonerate the name of the church from such accusations. You will notice that the testimonies of the two ex-members are neither true nor consistent. Then, why does Hassan slander and promote religious hatred towards the Church of God? Does he have something to do with the WMSCOG? No, he has nothing to do with the Church of God. Please click here for more about Steve Hassan.

Once again, our faith should be based on the Bible. And the Bible should be the ONLY criteria when determining an organization is true or not. The World Mission Society Church of God follows the teachings of Jesus and observes the Passover of the New Covenant (Matthew 26:17-, Luke 22:15) and the Sabbath (Luke 4:16, Acts 17:2, Acts 18:4.) The Church does not follow man-made rules such as Sunday service and Christmas. It’s hard to see the spiritual world with our physical eyes because our spiritual eyes are blinded due to our sins. If you rely on man-made methods to determine who Christ Ahnsahnghong is, you will not be able to reach the right answer. Please look at the Bible diligently and find out why Christ Ahnsahnghong is the Savior of this age through the Bible.
