Today, most Christians think that the earth will be destroyed immediately and the judgement will take place when Christ comes a second time on the real cloud in the sky. However, it’s totally different from the teaching of the Bible.

At that time they will see the Son of Man [Jesus] coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption [salvation] is drawing near.” (Luke 21:27-28)

Does the Bible say that the final judgement will take place and the people of God enter the kingdom of heaven as soon as Christ comes a second time in a cloud? No, it doesn’t. It says, “lift up your heads because your salvation is drawing near.” Therefore, there is a significant difference between their thought and the word of the Bible.

Then, what does it mean “to come in a cloud” in Luke 21:27?

From the short YouTube movie above, you can understand that “a cloud” is a parable which means “the flesh.” In other words, “to come in a cloud” means “to come in the flesh” (that is, “to come as a man”.) We can understand this by studying the prophecy about Jesus who would come with the clouds and how Jesus came for the first time 2,000 years ago.

“In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven… He was given authority, glory and sovereign power [a kingdom, KJV]… (Daniel 7:13-14)

This is a prophecy about 600 years before Jesus came for the first time. Some claim that it’s a prophecy about the Second Coming Jesus. However, we can determine which claim is correct by confirming who received “authority, glory and a kingdom.”

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me [Jesus]… (Matthew 28:18)

All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me [Jesus] through them. (John 17:10)

And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one [a kingdom] on me [Jesus] (Luke 22:29)

Who did receive authority, glory and a kingdom? Jesus did. Therefore, it’s clear that the prophecy of Daniel is about Jesus who came 2,000 years ago. The prophet Daniel prophesied, “Jesus will come with the clouds of heaven,” but Jesus came in the flesh. Through this, we can understand the “the cloud” here stands for “the flesh.”

Then, what does the prophecy in Luke Chapter 21 mean, which says that the Son of Man will come in a cloud when He comes again? It means that He will come a second time in the flesh as He did 2,000 years ago. Of course, in the Bible, the word “cloud” could mean natural cloud depending on the situation. However, the cloud in Luke Chapter 21 must be understood as “the flesh.” Actually, there are many instances where the word “cloud” mean the flesh (Jude 1:12; Proverbs 25:14.)

The secrets of the Bible are hard to understand with our physical eyes. Today, many Christians are looking up the sky to meet Christ on a cloud. However, they will never see Christ on a cloud in the sky. Before it’s too late, please look at the Bible carefully and meet the Second Coming Jesus who has already come in the flesh. Christ Ahnsahnghong is Christ who came a second time in the flesh and fulfilled all prophecies of the Bible. In this age, we must seek Christ Ahnsahnghong, the Savior of the Holy Spirit age.

Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds [in the sky] will not reap. (Ecclesiastes 11:4)

Are you still looking at the clouds? If you look up the sky, you will not reap what you want: salvation. The Jews who saw Jesus with physical eyes were all destroyed 2,000 years ago. Likewise, those who see Christ with physical eyes will not recognize Him.
