There was a great king. He conquered vast lands from Macedonia to the Indus covering 3 continents within only eight years. However unfortunately, he died from a disease at the age of 33, at last. Though he owned great wealth and power, such earthly things could not save his life. You know, he was Alexander the Great, one of the greatest kings in world history.

The above short YouTube movie shows us what’s more important in our lives through the story of Alexander the Great. And it suggests us to prepare for our souls rather than for our bodies. Then, what should we prepare for our souls during our lives?

Jesus said to them, “I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man [Jesus] and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him [him who eats and drinks the flesh and blood of Jesus] up at the last day. (John 6:53-54)

Without eating and drinking the flesh and blood of Jesus, we cannot have eternal life or salvation. Do you know how we can eat and drink His flesh and blood? Do you still think that to believe in His Word is to eat and drink His flesh and blood? Of course, it’s true that we can be saved by believing in His Word. However, action is also required to be saved.

I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life. I [Jesus] am the bread of life. (John 6:47-48)

We must believe that Jesus is the bread of life, and with such faith we must participate in His body through the Passover to have everlasting life.

And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer… And he took bread [the Passover bread], gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This [the Passover bread] is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after the supper he took the cup [the Passover wine], saying, “This cup [the Passover wine] is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you [us who are sinners].

Jesus promised that the Passover bread is His body [flesh] and the Passover wine is His blood. And He said it’s for the forgiveness of sins (Matthew 26:29.) Some insist that the Passover does not need be observed any longer because the Law was abolished. Yes, the Law of Moses (or the Old Covenant) was abolished and must not be observed. However, we at the World Mission Society Church of God keeps the Law of Christ (or the New Covenant.) Please see this web page for more about the Law of Christ or the New Covenant. We must remember why Jesus said “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you.

The Passover of the New Covenant is what we need to prepare for our souls while we are living in this world. As you know, our life is limited. So you need to hurry up without hesitation.

However, this precious Passover of the New Covenant was abolished during the Dark Ages and could not be kept by nobody for more than 1,600 years. According to the prophecy of the Bible, the Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong restored the Passover in this age.

On this mountain [in Zion] the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine [wine which has been stored for a long time]–the best of meats and the finest of wines. On this mountain [in Zion]… he will swallow up [destroy] death forever… In that day [when the LORD Almighty prepare a banquet of aged wine which destroyed death forever] they will say, “Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.” (Isaiah 25:6-9)

Only the Passover wine can destroy death forever. It’s prophesied that he who would bring the Passover with him is God Almighty. According to the prophecy of the prophet Isaiah, Christ Ahnsahnghong brought us the Passover which has been hidden for a long time.
