The Truth of the World Mission Society Church of God

The World Mission Society Church of God believes in Ahnsahnghong, a Korean, as the Savior of this age. The WMSCOG also believes in Heavenly Mother. Does the Bible really testify to Christ Ahnsahnghong & God the Mother?

Examining “Examining the WMSCOG” (Truth about Christ Ahnsahnghong)

The Bible testifies about the Savior who will save mankind (John 5:39.) It means that we can recognize the Savior ONLY through the Bible.

You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me [the Savior] (John 5:39)

We need to remember why God allowed us the Bible. Since we cannot see the spiritual world, God gave us the Bible for us to see the spiritual world and to receive the Savior who will lead us to the kingdom of heaven. God is almighty and does not need that any one should bear witness concerning man (John 2:25.) The ONLY criteria for recognizing the Christ is the Bible.

But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way? (Matthew 26:54)

[WMSCOG] I know God the Father… but God the Mother?

Every Christian knows that there is God the Father in heaven. How can we know that there is God the Father? It’s because Jesus let know the existence of God the Father.

This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven…'” (Matthew 6:9)

You know that the word “Father” is used within a family and indicates that there are children. Then, who does give birth to such children? You know, without mother, no children. Just as we have God the Father, so we have God the Mother. Continue reading “[WMSCOG] I know God the Father… but God the Mother?”

What recently happened in the World Mission Society Church of God?

Do you know what has recently happened in the World Mission Society Church of God? Surprisingly, the Church of God received The Queen’s Award? What is the Queen’s Award? It’s the highest award a voluntary group can receive in the UK and the recipients are qualified to be an MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire).

Wow, how amazing it is! Moreover, the World Mission Society Church of God was the only religious group that was awarded the Queen’s Award this year (see here for more information).

[WMSCOG Member Testimony] Good Samaritan movement in the World Mission Society Church of God

Here is a testimony of a WMSCOG member named Steven about his experience in the Church.

My name is Steven, and I’ve been attending the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG; Korean: 하나님의 교회) for about 6 years now and I can honestly say the last six years of my life has been amazing, life changing, I never thought I’d be where I’m at today and this happy. Coming to the Church of God, not only did I find out more about the Bible, find out things I’d never known…

The World Mission Society Church of God recently received Queen’s Award for voluntary service. This award is the highest award a voluntary group can receive in the UK and the recipients are qualified to be an MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire). Please see this article.

Does the World Mission Society Church of God break up families?

You might have heard that your family will be destroyed if you attend the World Mission Society Church of God (하나님의교회; WMSCOG.) However, I have attended the WMSCOG for more than ten years but I have never seen such cases.

It’s not my private opinion. Even the Supreme Court ruled that no evidence supports the allegation of family breakup by the Church of God (Case No. 2006Do1356.) You can see the full news article about this case at this page.

Then, why do the slanderers spread such malicious rumors against the World Mission Society Church of God? You can understand the reason at the article titled “Cult experts, whose standard of judgment is money.”

Does the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) keep the Law of Moses?

Some accuse the World Mission Society Church of God (하나님의 교회; WMSCOG) of legalism—excessive and unnecessary emphasis on the law of God. They insist that Christians do not need to keep any law and often quote the verse Colossians 2:16.

Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. (Colossians 2:16)

In the video on top of this page, you can understand the difference between the Law of Moses and the Law of Christ, and what Apostle Paul really meant in Colossians 2:16. Please visit this web-site for more information on this topic.

Is the World Mission Society Church of God a ‘money hungry cult’?

There are people who claim that the World Mission Society Church of God (하나님의 교회; WMSCOG) is a money hungry cult. I don’t know why they argue such an absurd claim. The above YouTube video shows how funny and absurd is their argument.

Also, some claim that the tithe is the law of the old covenant and the leaders of the “cults” collect money through the tithe. If this claim is right, Jesus also becomes a money hungry cult. They do not know they make Jesus a cult.

Jesus said, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s” when the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap him in his words and asked “Is it right to pay taxes to Caesar or not?” (Matthew 22:15)

Then, what is Gods’?

A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD. (Leviticus 27:30)

Standard of judgment of cults experts is money

Have you ever heard about cult experts? The title “cult expert” is a self-proclaimed one and cannot be obtained through educational organizations or authoritative institutes. Moreover, they have no reasonable standard of judgment when deciding whether a denomination or a religious group is heretical or not. The standard of their judgment is money.

This article shows how so-called cult experts fabricate cults against religious groups which refuse to provide them with money.

I wonder who was the first cult expert…

I found an interesting article about a Korean man who fabricated evidence to drive a pastor, who discontinued sponsorship, into a corner. I suspect that his act was similar with that of today’s cult experts. Please refer to this post.

How can the WMSCOG teach abortions if they teach the importance of the family?

You might have heard some malicious rumors about the World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG), a church which believes in a Korean man named Ahnsahnghong as the Savior of this age. However, all such rumors are just rumors and are far from the truth. Here is a true testimony of a current Church of God member.

…I’ve heard rumors that the World Mission Society Church of God (Korean: 하나님의 교회; WMSCOG) is a racist towards Black African Americans. BUT, as you see, I’m black, my children are black. And there are many churches in Africa. Another rumor was that the WMSCOG teach abortions. How can a church that considers family system is important encourage abortions?…

[Video] Walk in the World Mission Society Church of God and see if there’s racism

The World Mission Society Church of God (WMSCOG) has lots of churches in Africa. The Bible says there’s no difference between the Jews or Greeks [pagans]. According to the teachings of Jesus who said “Go and make disciples of all nations“, the Church of God preaches the new covenant and the good news about Christ Ahnsahnghong (Korean: 안상홍) and God the Mother to all nations. However, slanderers try to slander the World Mission Society Church of God by claiming that the Church does not preach to black people and discriminate people based on skin color. However, if you come to the Church of God, you will soon realize that their insistence is far from the truth. Here is a true testimony of a member of the World Mission Society Church of God:

This is Nkiru and been a member of the World Mission Society Church of God [Korean: 하나님의 교회; WMSCOG] for more than six years. I recently heard allegations about racism in the Church of God. I’m African American and my background is actually West African. As a new member, a lot of the members’ backgrounds were Latin American and I never felt separated. My parents first didn’t like me to attend the Church of God, but after attending the services and events, my father said, “If anyone wants to find happiness, they should come to the Church of God.”
