The Truth of the World Mission Society Church of God

The World Mission Society Church of God believes in Ahnsahnghong, a Korean, as the Savior of this age. The WMSCOG also believes in Heavenly Mother. Does the Bible really testify to Christ Ahnsahnghong & God the Mother?

Christ Ahnsahnghong is Elijah, not the Messiah?

I recently met a woman who said, “The WMSCOG even made Ahnsahnghong a Second Coming Christ. However, he did not claim that he was the Christ, but the Prophet Elijah. It’s okay if you respect him as a teacher. You are all deceived by the Church.”

Let’s see why her claim is not true. If her argument is correct, people also must not believe in Jesus as the Christ.

For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me [Moses] from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you. Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from among his people.’ “Indeed, all the prophets from Samuel on, as many as have spoken, have foretold these days. (Acts 3:22-24)

In Acts 3:22, the Apostle Peter testified that Jesus came as a prophet like Moses and those who would not listen to Him would be completely cut off from among God’s people. Then, was Jesus a mere prophet? No. He was the Christ although He came as a prophet like Moses. However, many people believed Jesus as a prophet, not the Christ.

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” (Matthew 16:13-14)

Likewise, Christ Ahnsahnghong came as the Prophet Elijah, but He is the Second Coming Christ because He also fulfilled many other prophecies including the prophecy of King David, the order of Melchizedek, etc. Please see this webpage for a detailed explanation on this topic.

Then, why did Christ Ahnsahnghong come as the Prophet Elijah? We must know the role of Elijah.

2,000 years ago, John the Baptist came as Elijah and prepared the way for God. And Jesus said that he was the Prophet Elijah.

In those days John the Baptist came… This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah: “A voice of one calling in the desert, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’” (Matthew 3:1-3)

And if you are willing to accept it, he [John the Baptist] is the Elijah who was to come. (Matthew 11:14)

It’s also prophesied that the Prophet Elijah would come again before the dreadful day of the Lord (Malachi 4:5.) According to this prophecy, Christ Ahnsahnghong, although He is the Christ, came as the Prophet Elijah and fulfilled the ministry of Elijah by letting us know the source of the water life: God the Mother.

You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he [God the Father] establishes Jerusalem [God the Mother] and makes her the praise of the earth. (Isaiah 62:6-7)

    All prophecies must be fulfilled
The prophecy of Elijah must be fulfilled
The prophecy of David must be fulfilled
The prophecy of Melchizedek must be fulfilled
    Who fulfilled everything?
    Christ Ahnsahnghong!
    Isn’t he?

Elijah has the role of preparing the way of the Christ. Therefore, John the Baptist, who was Elijah, witnessed Jesus:

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! (John 1:29)

So Jesus clearly said that John the Baptist was Elijah:

And if you are willing to accept it, he [John the Baptist] is the Elijah who was to come. (Matthew 11:14)

It’s also prophesied that Elijah would come again just before the Final Judgment in the book Malachi. Why was the prophet Elijah to come? He comes to witness the Savior.
According to this prophecy, Christ Ahnsahnghong came as the Prophet Elijah and testifies to another Savior: God the Mother.

However, He Himself is the Christ who fulfilled all prophecies about the Second Coming Jesus although He came as the Prophet Elijah to testify to God the Mother.

In the book titled “The Mystery of God and the Spring of the Water of Life,” Christ Ahnsahnghong wrote:

As it is written, “a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, (Revelation 5:1-6)” the Lamb to come secretly in the name of David in the last days is to open what the seven thunders said and to break its seven seals.

Who broke the seven seals of the seven thunders and unveiled all mysteries hidden in the Bible? And who came as the name of David to fulfill the remaining 37 years of David’s throne? Christ Ahnsahnghong did. What does not mean? Christ Ahnsahnghong Himself is the Second Coming Christ and the Savior of this age.

The mystery of God is the Christ (Colossians 2:2.)
2,000 years ago, even the disciples such as Cleopas regarded Jesus as a prophet:

“What things?” he asked. “About Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied. “He was a prophet, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people. (Luke 24:19)

This show how it’s difficult to realize the Christ who came in the flesh.
It’s important to see the Bible to realize the Christ who will save mankind in this era.

It’s so true. It’s really difficult to realize the Christ who came in the flesh. Moreover, according to the Bible, many false prophets and christs will appear in the last days. We can aware of the true Christ only through the Bible.

Christ Ahnsahnghong is the Savior of this age, who accomplished all the prophecies of the Bible including the prophecy of king David, the prophecy of the fig tree, the order of Melchizedek, etc. The fact that Christ Ahnsahnghong came as Elijah means that He had a role as the prophet Elijah, but this does not mean that He is not the Christ. (Jesus also came as a prophet like Moses, but He was the Christ.)

Christ Ahnsahnghong is God who fulfilled all the prophecies of the Bible besides the prophecy of Elijah.

2000 years ago, many people thought Jesus as a prophet, but the Disciples believed Him as the Messiah. In the same way, many people of today think Christ Ahnsahnghong as a prophet or a mere man, those who realized the truth believe Him as the Christ.

Christ Ahnsahnghong came to this earth according to the prophecy of the Bible. Among many prophecies fulfilled by Christ Ahnsahnghong: “See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse.” Then, how can the prophet Elijah turn the heart of God to their children, and the hearts of the children to God?

For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another. But God found fault with the people and said: “The time is coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah. It will not be like the covenant I made with their forefathers when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they did not remain faithful to my covenant, and I turned away from them, declares the Lord. This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. (Hebrews 8:7-10)

According to Hebrews 8:10, it’s prophesied, “God will establish the New Covenant to put His laws in their minds and write them on their hearts.” Through the law of the New Covenant, God will turn the hearts of children to God, and the heart of God to the children. Christ Ahnsahnghong brought us the New Covenant according to the prophecy of the Bible. The Bible wrote that God would establish the New Covenant. Then, who is Christ Ahnsahnghong? So, the prophet Malachi wrote, “Remember the law of my servant Moses, the decrees and laws I gave him at Horeb for all Israel.”

      Thanks for your comment.

It’s prophesied that God Almighty would bring the Passover with Him in the last days.

On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine–the best of meats and the finest of wines…. he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove the disgrace of his people from all the earth. The LORD has spoken… In that day they will say, “Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.” (Isaiah 25:6-9)

God will prepare a feast with aged wine which will swallow up [destroy] death forever. It’s the Passover wine which destroy death forever. In this age, Christ Ahnsahnghong brought the Passover with Him for our salvation. Although He came as the prophet Elijah, He is Almighty God because He accomplished all the prophecies regarding the Second Coming Christ including the parable of the fig tree, the prophecy of King David and the prophecy of Melchizedek.

  7. That is different problem. The one who don’t know the role of Elijah say that Christ Ahnsahnghong is Elijah, not the Messiah. Christ ahnsahnghong,God the Messiah has come as Elijah.

Christ Ahnsahnghong-nim is the Second Coming Christ because He also fulfilled many other prophecies including the prophecy of King David, the order of Melchizedek, etc.
